The Opportunity:

Our Corporate Infrastructure team is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Integration Engineer. The Integration Engineer position will be responsible for the planning, design, and implementation of the integration process between various endpoint security, SIEM, next generation firewall, and Cloud vendors and IronNet’s product line.  Performs IT functions such as design, analysis, evaluation, testing, debugging and implementation of applications programs supporting the company infrastructure business processes and operations and/or network-based (cloud) product systems. Analyzes, installs, acquires, modifies and supports operating systems, database or utilities software. Plans, conducts and directs the analysis of business problems with automated systems solutions. Analyzes, designs, acquires and implements projects for LAN and/or WAN systems. Plans, designs, acquires and implements telecommunications voice/wire systems. Also contributes to the development, testing, evaluation or design of system or infrastructure architecture used throughout the IT solution set. 

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate the ability to:

  • Install, configure and maintain various endpoint security, SIEM, next generation firewall devices, and cloud infrastructure as identified by Engineering and Product Management for integration into the IronNet product line.
  • Effectively communicate between company Software Engineers and local customers or management to ensure successful integration and completion of projects.
  • Define system specifications, input/output processes, and hardware or software compatibility.
  • Extend technical support during preparation, installation and system maintenance.
  • Create professional technical documentations and present for internal and external use.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and other network and system problems.
  • Take individual ownership of issues and pursue resolution tenaciously.
  • Work with various vendors for the installation, configuration and troubleshooting during installation or integration of platform.
  • Take on other network or infrastructure projects on the corporate infrastructure as needed.
  • Augment the existing corporate infrastructure and provide resources or expertise where available.

If your background aligns with the following criteria, you may be the person we are looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in an Information Systems, Technology or related field of study.
  • Strong understanding of networking essentials and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to think through problems and visualize solutions.
  • Ability to implement, administer and troubleshoot network infrastructure devices, including firewalls, routers, switches and understanding of network infrastructure protocols.
  • Ability to quickly learn new or unfamiliar technology & products using documentation and internet resources.
  • Knowledge of midsize or large data center environments.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with high attention to detail.
  • Excellent debugging and analytical reasoning skills and ability to work independently.

Ideal candidates will also have:

  • Experience with one or more endpoint security products (Crowdstrike, Carbon Black, ForeScout).
  • Experience with one or more SIEM products and integration into an existing infrastructure.
  • Experience with one or more next generation firewall products (Palo Alto, Juniper, Check Point).
  • Familiarity with various cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
  • Previous experience with network logs and sensors (hardware or virtual).
  • Experience with network management in different cloud services, hypervisor or private cloud (Nutanix).
