The Opportunity:

IronNet needs a strategic, yet hands-on, Product Marketing Manager who understands how to position solutions in dynamic and competitive markets to join our team. You will help transform how companies think about cybersecurity and help define new market segments for IronNet’s unique set of products and services. This role will work closely with sales, product management and customers to understand our target audience, key security issues they are experiencing and the competitive landscape. You will leverage these insights to develop GTM strategies, sales enablement content and training, and competitive analysis.

 

Success Factors/Criteria

To be successful in this role, you must be able to:

  • Partner with with Product Management and Engineering to translate product technical capabilities into business benefits 
  • Develop sales enablement tools and thought leadership content that enhance  marketing and sales successfully position IronNet solutions in dynamic and competitive markets 
  • Manage GTM execution of 3rd party technical partners (i.e. Crowdstrike, AWS, etc) 
  • Drive market positioning and messaging that resonate with technical and non-technical customer personas
  • Deliver clear messaging and positioning of IronNet and benefits of our solution across adjacent solution categories (cloud, endpoint, network security, SIEMs, Threat Intel)
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis and bring perspectives to engineering teams and maintain competitive intelligence in Klue
  • Partner with Marketing stakeholders on co-branded assets, blogs, eBooks, and other thought-leadership content
  • Communicate effectively with industry analysts and 3rd party validation organizations
  • Actively participate in team meetings and cross-functionally with sales and other departments
  • Travel to meet with sales leaders, partners, and attend events (when applicable)

 

You may be the right person for the role if you have:

  • 5-7 years of product marketing experience in the enterprise software space
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications, or relevant field of study 
  • Experience with a broad range of marketing activities, disciplines, and tactics, including field marketing, digital marketing and events
  • Thorough understanding of best practices in digital marketing and social media
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an innate attention to detail.
  • Prior success driving business through technology partners of varied sizes and building marketing programs appropriate for their goals.
