The Opportunity

Are you a builder? IronNet is seeking a world-class leader of Growth Marketing and Demand Generation to join the marketing leadership team. This role will be essential in the design and execution of our acquisition and demand generation strategy. This leader will set the direction, plot the course, and be responsible for building and delivering on monthly/quarterly awareness and pipeline-building objectives. Success looks like multi-channel campaigns in target segments that drive growth in pipeline, bookings, and ultimately revenue.

Our ideal candidate is a high-drive collaborator with excellent communication skills. He/she knows inbound/field marketing cold, has strong digital/social skills, and is equally comfortable doing, managing, and persuading. This candidate will possess a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and solid project management skills. He/she will be data-driven and will own the marketing funnel from attracting to converting to nurturing for Sales. Our candidate will be fluent in the buyer’s journey and will understand how to team with Product and Sales to drive awareness, consideration, and decisions. To be successful in this role, you must be able to . . .

  • Lead the Digital Demand team and drive growth across all defined channels and sectors in alignment with the IronNet ICP and GTM strategy.
  • Measure and track engagement from the top of the funnel through the majority of the customer journey to ensure marketing is accelerating sales efforts to close business.
  • Oversee the management of all digital marketing spend across a variety of platforms and channels.
  • Partner closely with SDR, Sales Operations and Field to ensure alignment on accounts, lead qualification and campaign messaging to drive pipeline from marketing-sourced and - influenced opportunities.
  • Build upon our account-based strategy across all digital channels, serving 1:many, 1:few and 1:1 targeting.
  • Work in collaboration with the Content and Product Marketing teams to develop persona-focused content for implementation on, social and paid channels.
  • Create and manage against lead and progression forecasts in collaboration with Marketing and Sales leadership. Convert forecasts in monthly targets for Digital Demand team, working in tandem with SDR to drive outcomes.
  • Oversee lead scoring methodology. Partner with Sales Ops to ensure values for firmographic, demographic and behavioral attributes are appropriately assigned and accrue properly in HubSpot and SFDC.
  • Build segmentation models in order to appropriate message and market to a defined set of personas.
  • Develop and manage against performance dashboards showcasing progress against target outcomes.

  • Experience managing account-based programs in collaboration with Sales teams
  • Proven experience in managing demand generation campaigns that drive customer engagement and advocacy, demonstrating significant and measurable results
  • Track record as a highly successful, hands-on marketer in SaaS environments and a champion of best practices
  • Creative mindset and can translate ideas to compelling campaigns that can be executed with operational rigor
  • Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills
  • Must have strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once in a fast-paced, always-on environment
  • Collaborative approach and ability to build strong relationships across the organization
  • Technical knowledge of the latest digital marketing tools, channels, and platforms
  • Relevant four-year BA/BS degree in marketing or technology
  • 7+ years experience in growth and/or demand marketing, with experience in marketing technical B2B enterprise products; SaaS experience preferred
