Principal Consultant – Banking & Financial Services (Business Development Focus)

What You’ll Do
In this influential role, you will:
- Lead client consulting and advisory engagements—including business case development, platform modernisation, integration strategy and implementation support
- Apply Project Management, Change Management and advisory capabilities across a portfolio of Banking / Financial Services clients
- Support new business development efforts and prospecting activities across the Financial Services landscape
- Drive brand awareness and represent IQ as a trusted partner in the industry
- Collaborate closely with technical teams and colleagues to understand, meet and exceed customer needs
What You Bring
You’ll ideally have:
- Banking / Financial Services industry experience
- A background in technology leadership, including platform replacement or modernisation, technology roadmaps, architecture choices and integration strategies
- Broad knowledge of technology trends, products and solutions within Financial Services
- Excellent interpersonal, facilitation and communication skills
- Proven ability to deliver against strict project timeframes and governance standards
- Experience across the software development lifecycle and familiarity with multiple delivery methodologies
- Proven experience in sales and business development, including meeting and exceeding revenue and growth targets
- Strong BD capability, with a track record of achieving sales targets and driving pipeline growth
- Demonstrated ability to build networks, generate new business, and deliver against clear sales and performance targets
- Strong team collaboration skills and demonstrated leadership qualities
