About the Role:

We are looking for a highly motivated and influential Analyst of Financial Systems to join the Finance and Accounting team to drive scalability and operational systems excellence. You will be an inspiring leader to the Finance and Operations team by supporting the current financial and operational system infrastructure, dependencies, and data integrity. You will also work cross-functionally with operations, analytics, and engineering to identify areas of improvement, innovation, and additional investment and drive efficiency through automation and streamlining processes.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Supporting the month-end close process
  • Supporting implementation of new operational systems related to inventory and order management
  • Develop standardized reporting for operations and finance/accounting
  • Be the key liaison of data integrity along with an expert understanding of how data is used, compiled, and queried in relevant databases.  
  • Draft and implement key policies and procedures and drive implementation and training of new operational and financial systems.
  • Maintain the relationship with engineering to stay close to system upgrades and stability with a focus on the impact on financial and operational systems. 
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to build streamlined and scalable processes and achieve maximum efficiency to support growth.
  • Benchmark and coordinate with industry peers on standard methodologies related to accounting, systems, policies, and processes.
  • Participate in key strategic initiatives and assist with other ad hoc projects.
  • Be the key liaison for system implementations and bring on both contractors and new team members as needed to complete and fully support these initiatives
  • Act as a system administrator for key financial, accounting, and operational systems such as:
    • NetSuite
    • Blackline
    • Order Management
    • Inventory Management
    • Adaptive

What We’re Looking For:

  • Undergraduate degree with an emphasis on Business/Accounting/Financial Systems
  • Two years of industry experience supporting US-based companies
  • Industry experience working with NetSuite
  • Experience supporting ERP and related system implementations
  • Experience supporting high-growth companies
  • Ability to collaborate with engineering and operational organizations alike
  • Experience with SQL and the ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal skills

Bonus if You Have:

  • Supporting the month-end close process
  • Understanding of US GAAP
  • Supported NetSuite, Adaptive, and Tableau
  • Documentation and design of internal controls
  • Supporting implementation of new operational systems related to inventory and order management
  • Develop standardized reporting for operations and finance/accounting
  • Been the key liaison of data integrity along with an expert understanding of how data is used, compiled, and queried in relevant databases.
