About the Role: 

We are looking for a Director of FP&A to partner directly with the IPSY President to set financial objectives and drive business results for IPSY. This role requires strong financial planning acumen, excellent business judgment, executive presence, and managerial capabilities. Our ideal candidate will bring to the table a strong understanding of consumer subscription business model metrics, consumer unit economics, e-commerce, and social media. Close collaboration is a must, as this person will be working across the IPSY business including growth, retention, merchandise, and operations teams. Do you have the experience for this role? What You’ll Be Doing: 

  • Partner closely with the IPSY President to drive financial results and accountability throughout the business 
  • Collaborate closely with leaders across the IPSY business to understand trends, analyze and communicate the business impact, and collaborate on the development of solutions 
  • Drive the annual budgeting and monthly re-forecasting processes for IPSY, delivering accountability on KPIs, revenue, unit economics, profitability, and cash flow 
  • Oversee the forecasting process for the new Refreshments business 
  • Build financial forecasts for the subscription and commerce businesses with a solid underpinning in subscription lifecycle, attachment dynamics, and unit economics 
  • Build out, analyze, and communicate results of strategic initiatives and articulate impact to overall business based on performance 
  • Support the IPSY President and other members of the executive leadership team in the production of presentations 
  • Provide strategic thought leadership and analysis that identify meaningful trends and opportunities across the business
  • Provide strong ad hoc financial and business decision support on numerous revenue, retention, merchandising, and marketing initiatives 
  • Deliver regular and timely financial analysis, insights, and relevant commentary to the finance leadership team, executive leadership team, and the Board 
  • Lead, mentor, and develop other Finance team members by identifying and hiring talented team members 

What We’re Looking For: 

  • 10+ years’ experience in professional financial practice/corporate finance, including FP&A leadership 
  • Strong business insight with a robust understanding of e-Commerce and internet subscription business models 
  • Executive presence and the ability to collaborate with partners across the business
  • Strong FP&A skills and the ability to lead the corporate function for a growing multi-business organization 
  • Rigorously detail-oriented, always checks work and takes pride in producing exceptional deliverables 
  • Negotiation skills and the ability to lead teams 
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills 
  • Deadline-orientated and an ability to stick to time constraints 
  • Fully embraces working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
