Responsibilities and Expectations:

Assist in shaping the capabilities of our teams, through designing, building and delivering innovative learning programs, system, and role-specific learner needs for both internal and external customers. In this position you will use your technical skills, creativity, and experience to explore innovative ideas to develop engaging and interactive learning experiences. This is a chance to demonstrate your deep understanding of training methodologies to shape and create learning experiences that will engage all facets of the organization from technicians to senior management.   • Scoping and creating complex learning solutions that increase engagement, improve retention, drive a deeper understanding of complex products, systems, and workflows by building interactive learnings, interactive exercises, simulations, gamification, collaboration, and social learning, and creating personalized learning solutions and methods where appropriate.  
  • Provide strategic learning design direction to team members and curriculum creators to shape the learners' experience. 
  • Leads and conducts thorough learner need gap analysis, creates robust and interactive learning solutions, and evaluates effectiveness of learning methods regularly to ensure that our content is relevant, updated and where applicable scalable.
  • Rapid prototyping, beta testing, and peer reviews of learning solutions.
  • Collaboration cross-functionally to influence development of enablement programs and learning events, new learning initiatives and learning impacts of product releases and new launches.
  • Successfully use performance consulting techniques to understand knowledge gaps, skills gaps and learning needs while driving metric-based learning.
  • Use metrics, learning analytics and industry curriculum design tools for creating and delivering blended learning techniques and adult learning principles.
  • Analyze learning data to drive the creation of complex learning programs/solutions that answer key questions for stakeholders, with an eye on what drives business performance.
  • Investigate and communicate which areas need improvement in efficiency and productivity for learning solutions.
  • Identifies, builds and implements new industry trending best practices, methodologies and learning solutions that drive business outcomes across multiple cross departmental functions and teams. 
  • Proactively identify areas of opportunity and/or improvement based on trends in the data, and use these insights to inform new processes, tools methods and team upskilling that drives business processes and/or increase user engagement/adoption.

Qualifications and Competencies:

  • 3+ years of supervisory experience or project management
  • Knowledge of and experience with LMS and other instructional design technologies
  • Experience with authoring tools (e.g., Rise 360, Articulate, story line etc.)
  • Experience with Canva and Camtasia
  • Strong project management skills
  • Self-starter who identifies problems, evaluates options and initiatives solutions
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others with demonstrated abilities in customer service, problem-solving and consensus-building
  • Ability to evaluate and research training options and alternatives
  • Ability to design and implement effective training and development systems. 
  • Work effectively both independently and as a member of a team.
  • Skilled at communicating technical information in terms understandable to non-technical end-users.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design techniques.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
