Responsibilities & Expectations: 

We are looking for a skilled Press Operator to perform duties involved with complete operation of a four-post press, quality, production, and safety.  Responsibilities may include:

  • Set up different tooling for different operations for manual press.
  • Maintain compliance of press job schedule specifications
  • Assemble & disassemble armatures and tighten comm nuts.
  • Measure and gauge core measurements and lineups
  • Monitor quality per specifications.
  • Maintain daily/weekly maintenance.
  • Clean press area and keep neat and organized.

Qualifications and Competencies: 

  • Must be a hands-on person capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to use tools including, but not limited to, calipers and gauges.
  • Mechanical aptitude.
  • Previous overhead crane/hoist experience preferred.
  • Employee must be able to lift at least 40lbs.
  • Employee must be able to push/pull at least 1000lbs.
  • Must be able to stand for 8 hours.
  • Able to problem solve and employ trouble-shooting efforts.
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area.
  • Follow all safety guideline.
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent with course work in skilled crafts or trades training.
