Responsibilities & Expectations:

CIPS (Continuous Improvement Process Solution) is the IPS operating system, incorporating the requirements of ISO 9001, 45001, and 14001.

We use metrics and standardized processes to drive continuous improvement and deliver the Unmatched Customer Experience (UCE).

As a CIPS Coordinator for IPS, you will apply Servant Leadership principles to build trust and open communication as you lead CIPS activities.

  • Develop, update, and own the continuous improvement processes, metrics, and any associated tools.
  • Promote the culture of change management, organizational excellence, lean operation and continuous improvement all with the same goal of providing an Unmatched Customer Experience.  
  • Work with team members to drive excellence in the CIPS foundational categories of Health, Safety & Environment (HSE), Quality & Engineering, Operations & Finance, Customer and Employee Satisfaction. 
  • Organize presentations for UCE and Steering Committee Meetings.  
  • Contribute to the development and promotion of standard work throughout the facility 
  • Utilize and promote lean tools such as: 6S, Visual Management, Value Stream Maps, etc.  
  • Lead the effort to meet or exceed targets set at both the corporate and service center level (Phase Assessment Tool, AGM Scorecard, KPIs, etc.)  
  • Promote engagement between the UCE-1 and UCE-4 team to drive the creation of COILs and CIs that return value in terms of efficiency, profits and quality of life to both our employees and the processes we perform 
  • Lead and participate amongst staff meetings, Phase assessments and decision making regarding continuous improvement projects to ensure the transfer of information through communication amongst the element owners.

  • Strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite tools   
  • Ability to be innovative, creative and a proven self-motivated, team-oriented attitude

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, such as the ability to effectively communicate to all levels within the organization and within a presentation setting 
  • Experience balancing strategy and execution, ability to get ‘hands-on’ with the business while understanding the processes needed to deliver results 
  • Ability to perform audits, write and submit reports

Pay Rate Details: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
