Digital Content Manager

Marketing Greenville, South Carolina

Description

IPS is seeking a Digital Content Manager to join our Marketing team where your expertise and dedication will be valued and drive our success. Here, you’ll find a dynamic environment that offers job stability, professional growth, and competitive compensation. As a crucial member of our team, you’ll support our locations around North America, partnering to ensure continued success. If you’re detail-oriented, dedicated, and thrive in a rapidly evolving setting, IPS is the perfect place for you to make a real difference.

Responsibilities & Expectations:

The Digital Content Manager is responsible for developing and managing the content that supports IPS’s commercial marketing programs. This includes campaign content, website copy, sales collateral, social media, and longer-form assets such as white papers and thought leadership pieces.

This role sits within the corporate marketing team and serves as the primary content resource for the revenue marketing and digital marketing functions. The ideal candidate is an experienced content professional who is equally comfortable developing a strategic white paper outline and writing a LinkedIn post — and who understands how content supports the full B2B buying journey.

Key Responsibilities:

Content Creation

Develop content that supports demand generation campaigns (email, landing pages, ads) with a focus on driving engagement and conversion.

Create high-impact sales enablement materials (one-pagers, presentations, and capability messaging) that clearly articulate value propositions and equip commercial teams to win.

Produce long-form content including white papers, technical guides, and thought leadership articles that support IPS’s positioning in key markets.

Translate technical subject matter into clear, compelling, customer-focused messaging.

Content Strategy & Planning

Manage the content calendar across campaigns, divisions, and channels, ensuring alignment with commercial priorities.

Work with revenue marketing to develop content strategies and briefs grounded in customer insights and market context.

Ensure consistency in brand voice and messaging across all touchpoints.

Identify opportunities to repurpose and extend existing content across multiple formats and audiences.

Social Media Management

Lead IPS’s social media strategy and execution, with a focus on LinkedIn as a primary B2B channel.

Translate campaign and long-form content into high-performing social formats that expand reach and engagement.

Monitor performance and optimize content based on data and audience insights.

Cross-Function Collaboration

Partner with the revenue marketing team to develop content that supports pipeline priorities and sales enablement needs.

Collaborate with the website team on content requirements to support SEO/GEO strategy, website performance, and conversion optimization.

Work with subject matter experts, engineers, and commercial leaders to translate technical knowledge into clear, compelling customer-facing content.

Coordinate with graphic design on content layout, visual asset requirements, and final production.

Qualifications and Competencies:

5+ years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B or industrial environment.

Demonstrated ability to develop both short-form campaign content and long-form assets.

Strong writing and editing skills across content types — including email, web, social, collateral, and white papers — with the ability to adapt tone and format to audience and channel

Experience developing content that supports demand generation programs, including campaigns, lead nurturing, and sales enablement

Proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, differentiated customer value

Experience managing social channels, particularly LinkedIn and Reddit

Experience with HubSpot, Demandbase, CMS platforms, and understanding of SEO, GEO, AEO

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple workstreams

Understanding of content performance metrics and experience using analytics to inform content decisions

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field — or equivalent demonstrated experience

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in industrial, manufacturing, energy, or technical services marketing

Experience operating in a multi-division or multi-brand environment

Why This Role Matters

This role is a core driver of marketing’s impact on the business. By creating content that fuels demand generation, enables sales conversations, and engages target accounts, this role directly influences pipeline growth, conversion, and how IPS shows up in the market.
