Corporate Technical Trainer (Full-Time)
Description
We are seeking a Corporate Technical Trainer to design and deliver engaging training that helps employees build the technical skills needed to succeed in their roles. This position partners with leaders, technical teams, and subject matter experts to create clear, practical learning experiences across classroom, virtual, e-learning, and hybrid formats. This role also leads The Iowa Clinic’s overall approach to training and serves as a shared resource for departments without a dedicated trainer. This includes setting training standards, creating consistent methods for design and delivery, managing training intake and prioritization, supporting training systems and tools, and helping measure results across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
• Design and deliver technical training programs for a variety of audiences
• Develop training materials, job aids, and role-based learning content
• Partner with operations, IT, and subject matter experts to identify training needs and ensure content accuracy
• Support system implementations and process changes through training and communication
• Evaluate training effectiveness and update materials as processes and technology evolve
• Establish training standards and consistent design/delivery practices
• Coordinate enterprise training intake, prioritization, and resource planning
• Support training systems, tools, and reporting

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
• 2–4 years of experience creating and delivering technical training in a corporate, operational, clinical, or technical environment
• Strong communication, facilitation, and instructional design skills
• Experience with e-learning software and training development tools required
• Relevant certifications such as CTC or ATD are a plus
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Education, Adult Learning, Organizational Development, Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
