System Engineer

A day in the life….
Wondering what a day in the life of a System Engineer at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
- The system engineer will support core organizational functions, with an emphasis on Telecommunications.
- Responsible for establishing stability, integrity and efficient operations of our systems.
- Maintain, administer and monitor the Shortel phone system.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve RightFax software, hardware, and other Fax related problems.
- Assist with disaster recovery operations and data backups.
- Protect data, software, and hardware by coordinating, planning, and implementing security measures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve hardware, software, and other VOIP and system problems.
- Define the need and coordinate the efforts to locate, assess, install, test, maintain and document information systems.
This job might be for you if you have…
- Associate or bachelor’s degree required.
- Six + years previous work-related knowledge and experience.
- Healthcare experience preferred.
