About this Position

Join The Iowa Clinic's IT department! We are now hiring for a full-time Help Desk Specialist. This position will:
  • Work on a number of different computer operations
  • Answer daily help desk calls to IT (60+ calls/day)
  • Respond to and diagnose computer software problems with end user
  • Typically, able to resolve fewer complex issues immediately while more complex problems are assigned to second level support personnel
  • Maintain daily backups for all systems
  • Add new users to all systems for IT

The schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday, based around the hours of 7am - 5pm (8-hour days) in West Des Moines.

Qualifications/Requirements

Technical/Vocational degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Two years previous working knowledge of computer operations required
