A day in the life… Wondering what a day in the life of a full-time Help Desk Specialist at The Iowa Clinic might look like?
- Join our onsite IT Team in West Des Moines, assisting incoming IT tickets and calls for employees and providers, ensuring a smooth IT environment and high user satisfaction.
- Handel a variety of computer operations
- Answer daily help desk calls to IT, averaging over 60 calls per day
- Respond to and diagnose computer software issues encountered by end users
- Resolve less complex issues immediately while escalating more complex problems to second level support personnel
- Add new users to all systems for IT
The schedule for this role will be Monday - Friday, based around the hours of 7am - 5pm (8-hour days) onsite in West Des Moines.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Technical/Vocational degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Two years previous working knowledge of computer operations required
