Job Summary 

IOA's dynamic Personal Lines division is seeking an experienced and dedicated Personal Line Trainer to join our team. As a pivotal figure, you will be responsible for the comprehensive onboarding and ongoing training of our staff across all Personal Lines regions. Your expertise will help ensure our team members are well-versed in our workflows, processes, and standards, enabling them to provide unparalleled customer service support to our clients. This role demands a strategic thinker with a knack for meticulous coordination and execution of training and administrative activities. Apart from your training responsibilities, you'll also oversee a book of business to stay informed about the daily tasks that will help prepare for training others.

 

What You’ll Do: 

  • Maintains high degree of technical competence and industry/market expertise.
  • Manage an assigned book of business, meeting all performance requirements regarding production, quality, and service, and ensuring that no liability associated with errors and omissions occur.
  • Delivers outstanding client service at all times, including proactively anticipating client needs, maintaining frequent and professional client communication, and responding quickly to any service requests.
  • Tracks policy expirations for existing clients and works proactively to ensure appropriate actions are taken to facilitate renewals.
  • Monitors Accounts Receivables reports and takes action on any delinquent accounts.
  • Training and Development: Design, implement, and continuously improve training programs that encompass a wide range of topics, including but not limited to quality audit and compliance, technical aspects of personal lines insurance, company policies and procedures, industry best practices, and process improvements.
  • Quality Assurance and Compliance: Ensure all training activities meet and exceed quality standards and compliance requirements. Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for enhancement.
  • Provides technical training and support to staff, addressing and resolving complex issues, and fostering an environment of continuous learning and development.
  • Collaborate with the Leadership team to strategically plan and coordinate training initiatives that align with the organization's goals and objectives.
  • Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions related to training, including scheduling, resource allocation, and tracking of training outcomes.
  • Utilize critical thinking to identify, analyze, and solve complex user problems, thereby improving training effectiveness and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as a key support system for the Leadership team, offering insights and assistance in developing training strategies that enhance team performance and achieve company objectives.
  • Constantly looks for, recommends, and implements process improvements and best practices to improve individual, team, and organizational effectiveness.

 

What We’re Looking For: 

      3+ years of industry experience

      All required active licensing (20-44 or 2-20 State License) 

      Exceptional customer service skills

      Excellent multi-tasking, organizational, delegation and decision-making skills

      Outstanding verbal/written communication skills

      Ability to perform large work volumes with high degrees of accuracy.

      PC proficiency

      Exceptional personal character

      High School Diploma (or equivalent)
