As a Sr Cloud DevOps Engineer you will support InVue’s mission, which is to improve customer experience, security, and operations for the world’s most valuable brands in retail and critical infrastructure; by enabling the development of scalable B2B software products and services.

Reporting to the Director of Software Solutions Engineering, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure using Azure and GCP, and automating the deployment and configuration process using tools such as Puppet, Ansible, or Chef. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud technologies, scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Bash, and a strong understanding of Agile methodologies.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
  • Build, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure using Azure and GCP.
  • Implement robust monitoring and logging systems using ELK Stack, Grafana, or Nagios.
  • Ensure security, compliance, and high availability of the cloud environment.
  • Design and implement Infrastructure-as-Code solutions for automated provisioning and configuration (e.g., Terraform, Puppet, Ansible).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery.
  • Analyze system performance metrics and implement optimizations for cloud infrastructure to improve scalability, reliability, and cost efficiency.
  • Design, implement, and regularly test disaster recovery (DR) and backup strategies for critical systems to ensure business continuity.
  • Monitor and optimize cloud costs using tools like Azure Cost Management.
  • Collaborate with development and operations teams to deliver scalable and reliable solutions.
  • Diagnose and resolve production issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Evaluate and integrate new technologies to enhance delivery processes and system reliability.
  • Partner with engineering and product teams to drive IoT platform design efficiency for web and mobile applications (Android, iOS).
  • Advocate for best practices in software engineering, security, and compliance.

  • Infrastructure: Google Cloud, Azure, and AWS
  • Cloud Services: CloudRun, Managed Kubernetes
  • Frontend development: React, JavaScript, TypeScript
  • Server-side development: Node.js, Express, Docker
  • Database: PostgreSQL, Redis
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in Cloud DevOps, with expertise in Azure, GCP, or AWS.
  • 3+ years of hands-on software development experience in a collaborative team setting.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, or Perl) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Strong background in cloud architecture and design for SaaS solutions.
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Travis CI.
  • Solid understanding of Linux/Unix systems and Agile methodologies.
  • Track record of implementing secure, compliant systems and protecting sensitive data.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to learning new technologies.
  • Fluent in English with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
