Role - SAP ABAP Senior Consultant
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement WRICEF requirements in SAP S/4HANA and other SAP systems using latest tools and technologies offered in S/4HANA version.
  • Develop S/4HANA applications using RESTful ABAP Model using custom business objects, CDS views and virtual data model. 
  • Implement workflow solutions by configuring, enhancing and creating custom Flexible Workflow or classic Business Workflow.
  • Develop extensions to standard SAP applications and objects using key user, developer extensibility.
  • Design and implement custom REST APIs in S/4HANA for consumption in interfaces and UI applications.  
  • Develop, register and test OData services in V4 and V2 using various frameworks and build Fiori applications with SAP Fiori Elements using UI annotations.
  • Develop custom or enhance standard migration objects for data migration into S/4HANA using Migrate Your Data Fiori application.
  • Troubleshoot and debug APIs, Fiori applications, Forms and Workflows using open source as well as SAP provided tools for broken functionality, short dumps, performance issues and research solutions for business requirements.
  • Follow SAP Best Practices for ABAP Development on Cloud and On Premise, project coding standards, naming conventions, ATC Checks and document test results.
  • Develop Technical Specifications, Unit Test and Code Review documents, work with functional, Basis and Security teams to ensure successful testing during various phases of the project.
  • Work closely with functional consultants to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with project managers, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Provide training and guidance to junior developers and consultants.
  • Document issues with SAP products and create incidents with SAP. Collaborate with SAP Support team to coordinate working sessions and help resolve issues.
Skills & Qualification
  • 3-6 years of experience in developing technical solutions in S/4HANA for various WRICEF requirements.
  • At least two full life-cycle implementation experience projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live) with one exclusively in S/4HANA.
  • 3+ years of experience SAP ABAP programming on HANA, running ATC checks, custom code remediation for S/4HANA environment.
  • 3+ years of experience developing and configuring SOAP APIs using SOAMANAGER, OData APIs in V2 and V4 using SADL and other frameworks and RFC APIs. 
  • 2 years of experience with RESTful ABAP development developing Fiori applications with SAP Fiori Elements and/or APIs for interfaces.
  • 1+ years of strong experience with customizing Flexible Workflows, debug and develop custom workflow solutions in classic as well as flexible options.
  • 3+ years of experience with using SOAPUI, Postman, Eclipse ADT, SAP Business Application Studio, SAPGUI, and Chrome Browser to troubleshoot applications.
  • 5+ years of experience troubleshooting and debugging ABAP and Fiori applications using web and SAP tools, including addressing performance and other issues in productive environment.
  • Working experience with BOPF, BRF+ and enhancing Web Dynpro applications.
  • Working knowledge of various business processes, integration with FI/CO.
  • Strong experience with documenting solutions, issues and communicating with management, SAP Support and stakeholders at development and project levels.
  • Experience with code reviews, performance tests, mentoring junior developers, working with Testing teams during ITC and UAT cycles and providing cutover, go-live and Hypercare support.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of business processes for focus area or module.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.

  • Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify touch points between modules.

This role requires limited travel.
