Role - SAP FICO Senior Consultant
Job Summary:
The SAP FICO Consultant will be responsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and maintaining the SAP FICO module to meet the business needs of our clients. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders, configuring system settings, and providing ongoing support and enhancements.

SAP Skills:
  • 6-8 Years of experience in one or more SAP modules.
  • At least two full life-cycle implementation projects (from Blueprint/Explore through Go-Live).
  • Understanding of SAP Activate Methodology.
  • Ability to lead workstream activities on a project.
  • Understands integration between modules.
  • Leads detailed module-specific configuration and master data development.
  • Ability to use Service Marketplace to create tickets, research notes, review release notes, and solution roadmaps as well as provide guidance to customers on release strategy.
  • Should have sound integration skills of FICO with MM, SD and other modules.
  • Demonstrated configuration skills in key areas like Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, General Ledger Accounting, Asset Accounting, Controlling, CO-PA, Cash Accounting.
  • Knowledge of validations & substitutions, GST configurations, Asset depreciation.
  • Should have experience in handling month end close activities (P&L & Balance Sheet).
  • Should have experience in writing Functional Specifications independently and should have worked on custom solutions build from Scratch to Deployments.
  • Should have sound end to end testing skills with preparation of test scripts & results.
  • Ability to suggest SAP standard alternatives for new requirements.
  • Experience in handling/coordinating for any issues in standard SAP raised to SAP Support.
  • Experience in Asset Accounting, Depreciation/Amortization of Assets.
  • Hands-on with Project System Module and Integration with FI, MM including Project structure creation, WBS element, configuration related to Budget allocation and Budget release.
  • Internal Order related configuration and budget allocation.
  • Concept of WIP and Full Settlement.
  • Settlement of WBS elements to AUC and Main Asset.
  • Budget structure and settlement profile.
  • Person responsible assignment, budget control check, Project profile mapping, budget profile mapping.
  • Knowledge about Cost elements- WBS and cost center.
  • Experience in custom design of customer requirements.
  • Ability to take ownership of change requests from requirement gathering till end user confirmation.
  • SAP Certification (desired).
  • Certification/training of ITIL standards (desired).
  • Prior experience on media & entertainment accounts (desired).
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for handling support tickets and application support to the end users.
  • Responsible for resolving support tickets in the given time frame to meet the SLA’s.
  • Requirement gathering from customer/end users; ability to ask the right questions
  • Proactive and prompt in communication with business users, customers, internal stakeholders
  • Take ownership of tasks to bring them to completion
  • Work in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders
  • Use analytical skills for problem solving and designing new solutions
  • Maintain excellent written and verbal communication standards with all stakeholders

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with others clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of business processes for focus area or module.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.

  • Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify touch points between modules.
