Senior Training Consultant (US Citizen or Permanent Resident required)
 
The Senior Training Consultant role will serve as the Training Lead (US Citizen or Permanent Resident required) on implementation projects, e.g., SAP, Success Factors, etc.
 
You are passionate about learning and development and have a history of successfully leading and delivering end user training components of implementation projects. You are focused on excellence and creating top notch learning solutions.
 
Responsibilities
  • Conducting Training Needs Analysis for client projects.
  • Developing project learning strategies based on training needs analysis results, client requirements, available resources and project parameters.
  • Developing comprehensive End User Training Strategies, and tactical plans.
  • Selecting appropriate training methods, tools and approaches.
  • Design training curriculum.
  • Partnering with the Client Training Team Lead to provide support and transfer capability.
  • Managing the delivery of the overall end user training program.
  • Defining training program resource requirements and managing training team resources; Providing direction and guidance to the training team.
  • Developing courseware templates and standards; managing the courseware developers and provides guidance and direction to the development team.
  • Ensuring the quality of all of the instructional materials.
  • Preparing and coordinates delivery of the Train-the-Trainer program.
  • Working closely with the Client Training Team Lead, and the Project Management Office to resolve issues related to the Training program.
Required Skills/Experience
  • 5-8 years of experience designing, developing and implementing training programs.
  • Leading teams of training developers (2-20 resources).
  • Experience leading training on three or more client engagements.
  • Experience working with contracted training development and delivery resources.
  • Experience working with geographically diverse teams.
  • Experience managing multiple training delivery sites.
  • Experience working all levels of the client organization.
  • Ability to manage project training budgets.
  • Ability to manage project training deliverables.
  • Ability to conduct learning technology tools assessments.
  • Ability to develop and implement quality management processes.
  • Ability to motivate team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership skills.
  • Ability to develop and implement an evaluation strategy for training.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including MS Project.
Education
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or graduate level coursework) in Training, Instructional Design, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Human Performance Technology, Organizational Communications or related field.
Preferred Skills/Experience
Ideally, you have the following experience managing or leading training projects utilizing:
  • 5 to 10 years of experience creating eLearning and ILT materials to support the major ERP Systems (SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft and Infor).
  • eLearning authoring tools such as Adobe Captivate or Articulate 360.
  • "ERP or similar technology implementation training experience with these tools:
    • SAP Enable Now
    • OnDemand
    • uPerform (Productivity Pak) (simulations can be migrated into SAP Enable Now if it’s a client legacy tool)
    • User Productivity Kit (UPK) (simulations can be migrated into SAP Enable Now if it’s a client legacy tool)
    • Resite
    • Camtasia
    • Lawson Learning Accelerator
    • Assima
    • WhatFix
    • Competency design and development
    • Curriculum design and development
    • Blended training program design and development
  • Big 4 Consulting experience
This position requires travel.
