SAP Testing Associate Consultant

Skills
  • Basic understanding of SAP concepts and modules is beneficial but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Bug Life Cycle is desirable.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and translate them into effective test cases.

 Responsibilities

  • Write test documentation and performing test execution in a fast-paced environment.
  • Develop, Update and Maintain Test Suites, Test Cases, Test Data.
  • Map test cases with requirements, generate RTM and test results using tools such as HP ALM/Quality Center.
  • Prepares & executes test cases and test data.
  • Achieves organization testing metrics such as productivity, defect removal efficiency.

Consulting Skills

  • Aptitude for working in a team environment: problem solving skills, creative thinking, communicating clearly and empathetically, strong time management and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
  • Learns or understands the consulting “soft” skills on engagements, as well as with team collaborative initiatives.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with others clearly and concisely.
  • Strong presentation skills.

 Business Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Understands business processes for focus area or SAP module.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
  • Self-starter with ability to manage the schedule, project requirements/assignments and training in order to meet LSI Grow milestones.

 Professional Development

  • Focus attention on professional development with the goal of becoming a consultant and/ or subject or SAP Module expert.
  • Seeks new opportunities to enhance skills.

 General Skills/Tasks

  • Assists the project team with documenting the developing solutions for client situations.

  • Apprises manager of workload direction and concerns.

  • Develops a deeper understanding of SAP methodologies, tools, standards and techniques.
