Role - SAP Logistics - Senior Consultant
Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum 6+ years of experience in SAP SD and MM modules.
  • Strong understanding of logistics processes and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SAP configuration and customization.
  • Experience with 3rd party system integration including IDOC monitoring and trouble shooting. 
  • Extensive experience in preparing Configuration, Functional Specification (FS), Functional Unit Test (FUT) documentation.
  • SAP certification in SD and/or MM modules.
  • Experience with UK Based client.
  • Experience with SAP S/4HANA is a plus.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies.
Responsibilities
  • Design, configure, and implement SAP SD and MM modules to meet client requirements.
  • Customize SAP modules according to the business processes and needs.
  • Develop functional specifications and collaborate with the technical team to implement custom solutions.
  • Analyze and document current business processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Conduct workshops and meetings with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide SAP best practices.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance of the SAP SD and MM modules.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the SAP logistics modules.
  • Ensure system integrity and stability by performing regular system checks and updates.
  • Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for end-users.
  • Create comprehensive documentation, including process flows, user manuals, and system configurations.
  • Manage SAP logistics projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget.
  • Ensure seamless integration between SAP SD, MM, and other SAP modules (e.g., FI/CO, PP).
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate system configurations and enhancements.
Business Skills
  • Should be pro active and self-motivated to deliver assigned tasks to the satisfaction of client and SAP best practices.
  • Should be able to independently interact with business users from UK region over MS Team calls to gather requirements or understand existing issue.
  • Should be able to independently gather requirements from business users, design solution, configure / test, support for UAT and responsible to production deployment of the same including custom objects. 
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with others clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Understanding of business processes for focus area or module.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Understands business functionality related to SAP module/application as well as can identify touch points between modules.

  • This position may requires working in UK hours from India offshore.
