SAP BI Consultant (US Citizen or Perm Resident req)
Job Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented SAP BW/BI Consultant to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will assist in designing, developing, and implementing Business Intelligence (BI) solutions using SAP Business Warehouse (BW). You will collaborate with senior consultants and business stakeholders to ensure data management and reporting needs are effectively addressed. This is an excellent opportunity to grow your skills in SAP BW/BI and contribute to delivering impactful business insights.
 
Experience
  • 3-6 years of SAP experience.
  • At least 3 years of SAP BI experience.
Responsibilities 
  • Assist in the design and development of SAP BW/BI solutions to support business reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with senior consultants to gather and analyze business requirements.
  • Help with data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes from various SAP and non-SAP data sources into SAP BW.
  • Support the development and maintenance of BW data models, data flows, and queries.
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of reports and dashboards using SAP BI tools (e.g., SAP BusinessObjects, BEx).
  • Perform system testing and data validation to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
  • Provide end-user support and training for SAP BW/BI solutions.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and resolving data inconsistencies and system issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with SAP BW/BI developments and best practices.
Requirements 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
  • Basic understanding of data warehousing concepts and SAP BW/BI architecture.
  • Knowledge of SAP BW data models, cubes, and queries.
  • Familiarity with SAP BI reporting tools (BEx Analyzer, SAP BusinessObjects, etc.).
  • Experience with SQL and basic programming skills (e.g., ABAP) is a plus.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications 
  • Previous internship or project experience with SAP BW/BI.
  • Knowledge of SAP HANA and SAP S/4HANA integration.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as SAP Lumira or Tableau.
Business Skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, the ability to communicate with others clearly and concisely.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suites including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to do research and perform detailed tasks.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Aptitude for working in a team environment; problem-solving skills, creative thinking, communicating clearly and empathetically, strong time management, and ability to collaborate with all levels of staff.
  • Ability to explain ideas and concepts to other project team members and to client personnel.
