The Role Where You Can Make a Difference
The Carnallite Operator operates and monitors plant equipment to produce quality products safely and efficiently. This role supports reliable production through equipment operation, inspections, preventative maintenance, control room monitoring, reporting, and safe issue resolution.
How You Will Create Value
- Monitor conveyors, pumps, screens, and related plant systems.
- Operate forklifts, front-end loaders, and other equipment.
- Perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and equipment clean-up.
- Monitor and adjust plant production from the control room.
- Identify and report safety hazards, equipment concerns, and operational issues.
- Complete shift reports, paperwork, and other assigned duties.
What You Will Need to Be Successful in the Role
- High school diploma or GED.
- Valid Driver’s License.
- One year of general labor and/or industrial plant experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and sound problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work rotating shifts between swing, grave, and day 8- to 12-hour shifts in outdoor, industrial conditions.
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs.; climb stairs/ladders; work at heights; and wear required PPE.
