Job Title: Business Reporting Specialist
Reports To: Business Reporting Supervisor
Location: New Mexico – West
OVERVIEW
A Business Reporting Specialist assists with gathering and validating information about various aspects of the operation, such as performance reports and maintenance metrics. Excellent writing and communication skills, ability to sort through a large amount of data, and proficient computer skills are key factors of this position.
JOB DUTIES
- Enter large quantities of information in databases and spreadsheets, and validate accuracy of data entry
- Create and publish maintenance and production performance reports, and communicate findings with staff
- Organize and archive a variety of reports and documents for historical records
- Reconcile daily, monthly and yearly production numbers for inventory reporting
- Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver’s License
- Intermediate to advance computer skills, including, but not limited to: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, etc.
- Ability to operate company vehicle and equipment as needed
- Proficient mathematics skills
- Ability to learn mining operation and equipment

SCHEDULE AND WORK ENVIRONMENT
9/80 schedule: Monday – Thursday, 9-hour workdays, Fridays worked, 8-hour workday, with every other Friday off. Schedule subject to change.
- Indoor, temperature-controlled office environment
- Typical noise levels include moderate noises (business office with computers, printers, etc.)
- Employees are required to wear safety attire and personal protective equipment (PPE) when applicable, and will occasionally be required to go out into surface and underground operations to fulfill job responsibilities
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Job physical requirements include:
- Sitting over 2/3 of work time, and hearing over 2/3 of work time
- Will be standing, walking, using hands, reaching with hands, climbing and stooping under 1/3 of the time
- Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. – lifting will be required up to 1/3 of the work time.
- Under 1/3 of the work time, the environment may consist of moving mechanical parts and high/precarious places. Typical noise levels include moderate noises (ex: business office with computers, printers, etc.)
A pre-placement physical and hair follicle drug test will be required for anyone selected for this opportunity. Placement into the position will not be made until the results are received and cleared by Intrepid.
