Facilities Project Coordinator

Description

Internet Brands is looking for a Facilities Project Coordinator to coordinate large & small facilities projects across multiple sites both domestic and international. You will be responsible for managing projects involving HR, facilities, business units, and cross-functional leaders across the portfolio.

Responsibilities:
- Coordination and delivery of projects in facilities
- Work with IB facilities manager to organize and execute projects at headquarters
- Work with Facilities, HR, IT, and business units to effectively drive facilities projects
- Collaborate and work with others to effectively solve facility challenges in sustainable and efficient ways.
- Create, plan and launch projects effectively and on time.
- Track vendor quotes against project budget
- Log all necessary IB property documentation (leases, invoices, amendments, etc)
- Work with remote property managers to ensure business requests are addressed
- Keep stakeholders appropriately engaged and up-to-date on project status and potential issues.
- Contribute to the development of a project management process that enables collaboration with end-users in a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Manage 2 part-time facilities assistants to complete day to day tasks at headquarters

Qualifications:
- Experience in operations or project coordinating (focus in facilities projects is preferred)
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration preferred or other related curricular.
- Proven project coordination skills and accountability for completion.
- Some knowledge and/or interest of design processes, construction processes, cost estimating as it relates to the design/construction process, building codes, facilities project development and project management.
- Effective interpersonal skills, effective and concise written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to run effective meetings and hold others accountable without having formal position power.
- Solid computer and word processing skills required.
- Strong disposition to problem-solve.
- Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and organizational skills.
- Ability to interact with technical, business, and functional stakeholders.
