Sr Manager, Strategy & Analytics

As Senior Manager, Strategy & Analytics, you will lead key efforts to analyze, understand, and predict the impact of strategic growth investments across our network of category-leading digital destinations including WebMD, Medscape, Avvo, Fodors, and CarsDirect.  You will shape our approach to measuring the value and impact of key investments across content, marketing, and product development - and the impact these investments make on the key audiences we serve. 

You will:

  • Lead a team analyzing and forecasting key growth levers across our businesses - including customer segment size, value, and revenue potential; content performance and economic impact; marketing performance and economic impact; and product and user experience impact. 
  • Partner with the broader Internet Brands strategy team to create frameworks and approaches to assign economic value to each growth lever - overall and per business unit 
  • Share insights and opportunities based on analysis and forecasts with senior leadership, and internal partners (including Corporate Strategy and Marketing Strategy)
  • Guide and inform discussions on significant, high-impact planning decisions - for both new investment opportunities and existing workstreams 
  • Coordinate with Business Intelligence and other teams to create scalable and automated dashboards (or other tools) to enable seamless access to key audience and economic analyses, across teams 

Required skills and experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative field - finance, economics mathematics, statistics, or related 
  • 5+ years of total work experience, primarily focused on quantitative analysis (such as finance, strategy consulting, forecasting, or marketing attribution) 
  • Some prior experience working with internal and external data (transaction data, digital analytics data, e-commerce data, etc)
  • Familiarity with common digital metrics and/or digital media KPIs preferred 
  • Prior people leadership experience a plus 
  • Experience in digital advertising or marketing technology companies / projects a strong plus
