The Ad Market Management team at Martindale-Avvo, a part of Internet Brands, is responsible for monetizing, optimizing, and innovating on the current online products sold to attorney customers. The Sr. Analyst of Pricing and Inventory will be responsible for creating and owning analysis including but not limited to business and sales performance, online advertising models, and pricing processes. This key role gets to work cross-functionally with other business leaders, analysts, and sales to make data-driven decisions that serve our customers and drive our business forward. In addition, the successful Senior Analyst candidate will flex both strategic thinking and tactical execution in the context of this needle-moving role. This position is located at Avvo HQ in the heart of downtown Seattle, Washington.

Responsibilities:

  • Forecast short and long-term market trends, emerging insights, and data anomalies, in order to make strategic business and growth recommendations. 

  • Perform ad hoc modeling, reporting and business analysis related to existing and potential new products 

  • Develop performance metrics and reports to effectively track business growth and trends

  • Support ongoing strategic projects, pricing, account targeting, deal operations with data insights

  • Candidate will have a demonstrated past of driving initiatives in a fast-paced environment, excellent time management skills, and commitment to contributing effectively in a team environment.

  • Embrace new projects with a can-do attitude, seeking out opportunities to contribute and drive impactful changes.

  • Efficiently extract data from various sources, manipulate, validate, and turn numbers into actionable insights to drive the business

Requirements:

  • 3+ years’ business, pricing and/or financial analyst experience

  • Experience in online marketing and/or SaaS business is a big plus

  • Strong SQL query skills

  • Expertise with Excel and Tableau

  • Experience with search marketing and website analytics platforms such as Google AdWords, Google Analytics, and Adobe preferred

  • Excellent project management, verbal and written communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoys rolling up sleeves and working with fellow team members to get the job done

  • Candidates with Salesforce experience preferred

  • Quantitative skills and general problem-solving skills for business problems

  • Strong interpersonal and team working skills

  • Ability to learn quickly and resourcefully

Required Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree is required, ideally in a quantitative field
