Education: B.E. Computer Science/IT degree (or any other engineering discipline)

Experience: 7+ years

Timings: 6.30 PM to 3.30 AM (Night Shift) 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead the development and maintenance of our CI/CD pipelines to enhance code integration and deployment processes to the AWS Cloud
  • Document system designs and deployment procedures, ensuring they are up-to-date and accessible
  • Implement security measures and compliance protocols to safeguard our systems and data
  • Collaborate with software development, QA, support, and product teams to align requirements and expedite software releases
  • Stay current on industry best practices, and apply them where appropriate to existing or new CI/CD workflows or related systems
  • Participate in the evaluation of emerging technologies and tools, recommending solutions that drive innovation and technical excellence
  • Assist and guide team members in applying best practices, and in the development and maintenance of software related to our infrastructure

 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Advanced CI/CD expertise:
    • Proficient in build tools such as Jenkins, AWS CodeBuild/CodePipeline, Maven, and Gradle
    • Experience with package management systems including npm, pip, and NuGet
    • Knowledge of artifact repositories like JFrog Artifactory and GitHub
    • Skilled in containerization and orchestration technologies, including Docker, Amazon Fargate, Amazon ECR, and Kubernetes
    • Competent in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation
  • Able to demonstrate expertise in Python programming with the ability to rapidly comprehend and navigate existing code, ensuring efficient integration with ongoing development efforts
  • Skilled in other scripting languages (PowerShell, Bash) a plus!
  • Strong understanding of cloud services, particularly AWS, with familiarity in Azure or GCP as a plus
  • Proficient in version control systems such as GitHub or GitLab, with a strong understanding of branch management best practices
  • Familiarity with DevOps and Site Reliability Engineering responsibilities, and Agile methodologies
  • Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • A strong drive to learn and apply new technologies as industry trends and best practices evolve
  • Experience with Linux is a plus.
