About the Opportunity

We are looking for passionate, motivated, high energy Engineers to be involved with all aspects of assessment review, design, troubleshooting and implementing Wireless Networks supporting clinical communications and patient care. The work involves preparing and presenting demonstrations and evaluations, answering technical questions, developing collateral, architecting solutions, and other responsibilities related wireless LAN products and services. This position reports to the Director of Engineering.


What You’ll Be Doing –


  • You will see everything through the customer’s eye. Everything you do will start from the clinician’s patient care delivery perspective and flow through the Technology delivery group’s world.
  • Your customers will be Clinicians, IT staff, Healthcare product and services Vendors, Manufactures, and indirectly the patients we all strive to provide the best experience.
  • Your background, experiences and out of the box creativity will serve customers by identifying their needs and engineering adaptations of products, equipment, and services.
  • Identify current and future customer service requirements by establishing personal rapport with potential and actual customers and others in a position to understand service requirements.
  • Leading and participating in product selection labs
  • Be involved with Wireless LAN products, and device testing in a lab environment documenting the results and presenting to customers.
  • Provides product, service, or equipment technical and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Prepares cost estimates by studying all related customer documents, consulting with engineers, architects, and other professional personnel.
  • Determines improvements by analyzing cost-benefit ratios of equipment, supplies, or service applications in customer environment and engineering or proposing changes in equipment, processes, or use of materials or services.
  • Gains customer acceptance by explaining or demonstrating cost reductions and operations improvements.
  • Develops customer’s staff by providing technical information and training.
  • Make sure customers comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation and anticipating future legislation.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
  • Contributes to sales engineering effectiveness by identifying short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action, and implementing directives.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • The position involves travel within the US, at a minimum of 20% of time, but could be as much as 50%.


You will have -


  • BS/BE University degree or equivalent plus 5+ years' experience in network engineering or telecommunications support environment.
  • One or more of the following certifications: CWNA, CCNA-Wireless
  • 5+ years of involved with designing, implementing, and supporting enterprise wireless networks.
  • You're experienced with LAN networking technologies, such as Switching & Routing, Load Balancing, and layer one solutions.
  • Experience with AirMagnet, Ekahau, Omnipeek, and Spectrum Analyzers.
  • You have exceptional communication (written, verbal and presentation) skills and ability to comfortably work with folks at all levels from support technicians to CIOs.
  • Strong Networking concepts and experience with Wi-Fi solutions, wireless integration and RF
  • Experience with WiFi, 802.11 and WLAN protocols and chipsets
  • Working knowledge of Linux platforms/tools/configuration
  • Familiarity with virtualization environments and tools
  • Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong MS Word skills and able to produce advanced documentation and deliverables
  • Strong working experience with advanced MS Visio documentation

Good for you to have –


  • You have demonstrated abilities to juggle simultaneous work tasks ranging from system/solution integration to complex technical issues dealing with protocols, infrastructure, wireless and various solution/vendor integration
  • Previous network services experience in healthcare industry
  • Experience working with healthcare clinicians and patient care delivery solutions
  • Certification on Cisco technologies like CCIE, CCNP
  • Wireless certifications like CWSP, CWDP, CWNE, and various other professional level industry wireless certifications.
  • Experience with CBRS, LTE and Microwave technologies
  • Experience with ZoHo Project, MS Project

What are your performance objectives –


Working as our Wireless Engineer you are critical part of our customer facing and customer success effecting operations. You will be providing guidance and mentoring to our field survey teams. You will be providing guidance, recommendations, and consulting to customers and you may be speaking at conferences and events.
