About the Job 
We are currently seeking a Toxicologist/Human Health Risk Scientist.  The ideal candidate will be a highly detail-oriented individual who can provide technical support on client projects for our growing Products practice. Most assignments will require teamwork, though a few will be entirely your responsibility.

This position may offer in-office, hybrid, or remote opportunities based on the candidate’s location and the needs of the organization.

Responsibilities

As a Toxicologist/Human Health Risk Scientist, your job functions will include, but not be limited to:

  • Performing exposure and toxicity assessments for chemicals and quantitatively evaluating human health risks. Conducting safety assessments of products and raw materials.
  • Critically reviewing and analyzing scientific studies, rating their reliability and selecting key and supporting studies in a weight of evidence approach.
  • Execution of technical work and client deliverables.

Qualifications
Candidates should hold an advanced degree in toxicology and/or pharmacology.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Master’s degree in toxicology and/or pharmacology 2 to 5 years of experience in human health risk assessment and toxicology 
  • Experience working in risk assessment project teams
  • Demonstrated proficiency in general toxicology, hazard identification, dose-response assessment, exposure assessment, and risk characterization  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • A desire to grow both intellectually and professionally
  • Possess strong organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineers

Annual Salary Range: $65,000 - $90,000

An employee’s total compensation package includes annual salary, company-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) participation with a company-match of 1% to 4% of annual compensation, company-paid life and short- and long-term disability, paid sick leave (80 hours per year), paid vacation (12 days), paid holidays (9 days per year), and the potential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performance. Paid time off will be pro-rated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicable.
