Are you full of energy, curious, creative, and ready for a role in a fast-paced, SaaS, high tech company? Insightly is looking to grow our Sales Development team to help us manage the ever-growing demand for our solutions and to drive new customer engagement. 

The Insightly Business Development role holds an important position at the top of the sales funnel for the entire company. The BDR is often our customer’s first experience with Insightly so you need to be able to make a great first impression by providing relevant industry and product knowledge. You will find, develop, and create new business opportunities for our sales team

The ideal BDR candidate is someone who has the ability to master outbound pipeline creation on their way to eventually becoming a successful Account Executive. Minority and diverse candidates are encouraged to apply.

CST and EST time zones preferred. 

Some of your responsibilities will be to:

  • Source prospects, develop opportunities and sell to a select group of small to medium sized business accounts.
  • Proactively engage and prospect new business opportunities and customers 
  • Help prospects understand how companies will typically evaluate platforms like Insightly 
  • Understanding our winning zone and applying that to prospecting methods 
  • Consistently achieve qualified opportunity quotas 

Skills and experience needed:

  • 1 year prior sales experience (previous SDR/BDR experience in Software/High Tech company preferred)
  • Experience with outbound sales via cold calling and cold emailing prospects 
  • Ability to be a great teammate 
  • Passionate about developing their career in sales
  • Embraces & implements feedback given  
  • Articulate with strong business acumen
  • Comfortable working with autonomy from home and utilizing virtual communication tools

​​The salary range for this role in Colorado is $50,000 to $60,000 and final offers are determined using multiple factors including experience and level of expertise. For all other locations, the salary range may vary by geographic market and will be determined through the selection and assessment process for this role relative to your experience and our job qualifications. This position may also be/is also eligible for an annual performance based variable compensation of $20,000. Insightly complies with applicable law regarding pay transparency.
