Senior Optical Systems Engineer Job Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with product development group to develop new products to add to our industry leading product lines of lens and camera test equipment
  • Design, build and test prototypes to measure the performance of  the equipment in order to meet customer needs


Senior Optical Systems Engineer Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Optical Engineering (preferred) or Physics
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in instrumentation development, optical system design, and product realization are preferred;  experience working on multidisciplinary product development teams will also be considered
  • Experience in the use of SolidWorks or similar CAD software
  • Experience using Zemax to analyze optical designs
  • Excellent hands-on laboratory skills
  • Team player with excellent interpersonal skills – you will be working with clients!
  • U.S. Citizenship or Lawful Permanent Residency (“Green Card” holder) is required
  • Limited travel domestically and/or internationally may be required
