Inside Sales Engineer Opportunity

KROHNE is currently seeking an Inside Sales Engineer to join our dynamic, growing team in our Beverly location.  The Inside Sales Engineer will support all sales channels in providing technical review of applications, commercial review of terms and conditions, and recommendations that will meet the needs of our customers.

Inside Sales Engineer Job Responsibilities

  • Support District Sales Managers, affiliated representative companies, and end customers through technical application assessment, product presentations and recommendations, quotation generation and periodic contact
  • Assist affiliated representative companies with product selection and pricing
  • Coordinate customer development efforts closely with outside sales representatives and District Sales Managers
  • Prepare and follow up on quotations and offers
  • Work with resources within KROHNE to develop and coordinate technical responses to Requests for Quotation

 

Inside Sales Engineer Qualifications and Skills

  • A technical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in Engineering, Math, or Science is a plus
  • Some prior experience providing customer facing technical support is a plus
  • Highly motivated team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external customers
  • Ability to travel on occasion
