We’re looking for a Trading Director to join our team.  

JOB PURPOSE
The Role will be responsible for the design and execution of our Trading strategy.

Within this there are 4 major focus areas which are:

  • UK/International retail management stores and concessions
  • UK/International digital commerce - driving our digital sales channels
  • Merchandising Trade
  • Performance Marketing

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implementing strategies to drive revenue and ultimately business growth.
  • Accountability for trading performance across all channels taking necessary action to optimise opportunity and mitigate future risks
  • working alongside the senior management team in developing and implementing strategies to achieve the overall targets for all markets.
  • Drive and execute the UK and international trading plans for collaborating with the Merchandising and Finance teams to deliver against the revenue target streams.
  • Accountable for weekly and quarterly country and channel specific trade reports and present at various performance/board meetings to provide insights and recommendations.
  • Drive sales by providing insight and influencing the channel spend allocation.
  • Review and analyse performance and provide recommendations on all performance marketing channels.
  • Bring strategic leadership to all channels and integrate them in order to achieve overall revenue and profitability objectives whilst brining a holistic consistency to customer experience.
  • Drive the development of the digital commerce 3 YP strategy building a direct connection across Jigsaw’s digital environment, acting as a thought leader and stakeholder on company-wide digital initiatives.
  • Closely monitor the KPIs and proactively identify strategies to drive revenue.

     

    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Strong commercial experience and acumen, with a strong track record in revenue engagement and performance
  • Previous experience within digital commerce and growth of the channel strategically and tactically.
  • Ability to intrinsically understand and drive the behaviours required within a trading environment.
  • Ability to, and experience of, developing thought leadership.
  • A broad understanding of Enterprise Technologies and how to deploy them.
  • Experience of people management ideally having held previous leadership roles.
  • Very strong programme and portfolio management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills.

Previous experience within digital commerce and growth of the channel strategically and tactically.
