Job Summary:

The Director of Sales is responsible for directing DTP Managers and their teams. They will provide vision and guidance to the managers and their teams to execute projected cash and insurance quotas. The Director of Sales will work closely with the VP, Patient Sales and VP, Marketing to implement sales programs and strategies in alignment with corporate goals and directions.

Responsibilities (Specific tasks, duties, essential functions of the job):

  • Plans and directs sales force activities to achieve sales and rental targets.
  • Analyze key metrics and do root cause analysis to determine opportunities for sales improvement.
  • Ensure execution of the developed sales strategies, plans and promotional programs.
  • Provide leadership, coordination, mentorship, and support to multiple teams.
  • Ensure Sales Managers and Representatives have the tools and resources needed to meet sales goals.
  • Manage Sales Managers performance utilizing accepted HR practices.
  • Ensure staffing levels are met and ensure attrition levels are effectively managed.
  • Recruit, retain and develop sales talent across the organization.
  • Implements trial programs (pricing, product, process or program), monitors and reports on the progress of these for their teams.
  • Ensure all Managers and Representatives adhere to our standards around policy compliance and cultural pillars.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned.

Qualifications (Experience and Education):

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • 10+ years’ experience in Sales/Customer Service, required. With 5+ years’ with 65+ demographics, preferred.
  • 5 years management experience, with a minimum of five direct reports, required.
  • Intermediate knowledge/proficiency in Microsoft Office, required.
  • A combination of training, education and experience that is equivalent to the qualifications listed above and that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
