Engineering Interns in INNIO Group experience technically challenging, meaningful and creative assignments in our business, including natural gas compression and power generation.
Essential Responsibilities
If you love technology and energy, and want a career in engineering, a technical internship in INNIO Group is for you! Engineering assignments take on the world’s toughest challenges – clean power and affordable energy - and are motivated by real business priorities. As an Intern, you could work on a variety of high impact teams, potentially including product design, mechanical development, analysis, controls, remote data monitoring, advanced and additive manufacturing, testing and validation, combustion, performance, services, technical fulfillment, cost-out and more. Applicable candidates for the internship program include: rising sophomores, juniors, seniors. Internships are available for Spring, Summer and Fall terms in 2020.
  • Currently enrolled in a full-time undergraduate or graduate program in an engineering discipline as listed below from an ABET accredited university
  • GPA greater than or equal to 3.0 / 4.0 overall
  • GE will only employ those who are legally authorized to work in the United States for this opening. Any offer of employment is conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen
  • Applicable Majors: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering. Other Engineering majors, such as: Computer Engineering, Materials Engineering, or other Engine-related majors will be considered.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job.
 Desired Characteristics
  • GPA greater than or equal to 3.2 / 4.0 overall in one of the aforementioned majors
