Role Summary:
The Lead Training Instructor will be responsible for delivering technical product training and consulting services to customers, distributors, and internal staff, ensuring the efficient and effective operation of Jenbacher products. This role will contribute to the continuous improvement and development of new training offerings and will occasionally support field service activities to stay current with the latest product technologies.

Essential Responsibilities:
•    Deliver basic, intermediate, and advanced technical hands-on and classroom training, including commissioning and minor overhaul training, to customers, distributors, and internal staff
•    Interpret technical training materials, procedures, and product information and effectively communicate complex technical concepts to training participants
•    Partner closely with the Global Product Training Center to provide feedback and support continuous improvement of training content and offerings
•    Provide technical input and subject matter expertise to support updates to training materials, documentation, and eLearning modules in collaboration with the Global Product Training Center and instructional design team
•    Lead and support training-related infrastructure projects, including training engines, simulators, training aids, and other technical training equipment
•    Create a positive, constructive learning environment by applying effective adult learning principles
•    Provide an excellent customer experience for training participants
•    Accept occasional field service assignments to stay current with Jenbacher product technology, including commissioning and/or maintenance activities
•    Comply with all relevant guidelines defined within the INNIO Quality Management System (ISO 9001), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), and Energy Management System (ISO 50001)
•    Perform other related duties as assigned to support successful operations and business continuity

Qualifications/Requirements:
•    High school diploma or GED required
•    Demonstrated experience interpreting technical content and delivering technical training, or extensive hands-on maintenance and troubleshooting experience with a desire to transition into a technical trainer role
•    Relevant technical experience in power generation, gas compression, or a similar industrial industry, working with reciprocating engines, gas turbines, generators, or comparable power generation equipment
•    Strong hands-on mechanical and/or electrical technical knowledge with the ability to understand and interpret technical manuals, procedures, schematics, and training materials
•    Ability and willingness to deliver both hands-on and classroom based technical training to customers, distributors, and internal teams
•    Willingness to travel domestically and internationally for training delivery and occasional field service assignments, as required
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
•    Physical ability to conduct hands-on training, operate technical equipment, move and set up training aids, and lift up to 50 lbs.
•    Valid driver’s license and passport
•    Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship

Desired Characteristics:
•    Technical or vocational education, completed apprenticeship, or degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, or a related technical field preferred
•    Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly
•    Experience working directly with customers, distributors, or field service teams
•    Experience working in a global or multicultural environment
•    Strong organizational and time-management skills

Compensation Range: $86,800 - $130,200 (Varies depending on relevancy of experience, technical certifications and other job-related criteria).
