Description

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Initiate and influence integration of EHS regulations, INNIO standards and best practices into the business
  • Establishing an EHS Management System for record keeping, reporting and data management
  • Inspect workplace activities, identify hazards and work with employees and management to determine timely corrective actions
  • Actively participate and implementation of EHS programs and procedures to ensure regulatory compliance
  • Assist consultants and contractors on related EHS issues
  • Active member of site leadership team
  • Maintain project leadership identifying key stakeholders and potential complications to meet agreed upon deadlines

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college in engineering or sciences
  • Minimum 4 years experience working in EHS program in a manufacturing setting
  • Related professional certification: Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP), Registered Occupational Hygienist (ROH) or equivalent
  • Knowledge of environmental and Ministry of Labour regulations
  • Ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 5% of the time.
