We are seeking a Production Quality Associate – Machining & Tear Down to ensure all machining and engine teardown operations meet internal quality standards and regulatory requirements. This role supports manufacturing teams by performing in‑process and final inspections, monitoring process performance, and driving quality improvements across operations.
What you’ll do:
- Ensure adherence to quality control processes for manufacturing operations.
- Monitor and perform inspections and quality checks during manufacturing.
- Conduct root cause analysis for process failures, defects, and non-conformities; implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Collaborate with production, engineering, and maintenance teams to resolve quality issues and improve process reliability.
- Participate in audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support new product introductions and process changes by validating quality requirements.
- Utilize quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, SPC, and control plans to drive continuous improvement.
- Report and collaborate on key quality metrics, including defect rates, rework, scrap, and process capability.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.
What you’ll have:
- Education in engineering, manufacturing, or related fields.
- Experience in quality within manufacturing, preferably engine production.
- Familiarity with quality management systems (ISO 9001 or similar).
- Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies (FMEA, 8D, SPC, root cause analysis).
- Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Additional Details:
- Location: Waukesha, WI
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite per week.
