We are seeking a Quality Inspector who will be responsible for inspecting, testing, and verifying the quality of materials, components, and products. This role ensures that all goods meet company standards and specifications before they are accepted into inventory or used in production.
What you’ll do:
- Inspect and test materials and components according to established procedures and specifications.
- Document inspection results and maintain accurate records of findings.
- Identify, report, and quarantine non-conforming materials.
- Communicate with internal teams regarding quality issues and discrepancies.
- Support root cause analysis and corrective action processes for supplier-related defects.
- Assist in the development and improvement of inspection procedures and quality standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations.
What you’ll bring:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree preferred.
- Experience in quality inspection or a manufacturing environment is an advantage.
- Familiarity with measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.).
- Basic understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001).
- Strong attention to detail and good documentation skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and move materials as needed.
Additional Details:
- Location: Waukesha, WI
- Work Schedule: Monday through Friday onsite per week.
- Visa Sponsorship: This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship now or in the foreseeable future.
