This position is responsible for performing standard operational sourcing activities within given guidelines and procedures. Additionally this role is destined to proactively get involved in sourcing initiatives aiming at constantly improving processes, achieving financial goals and delivering excellent service to internal and external customers.

Your Responsibilities:
  • Performs tasks and responsibilities of the complete order life cycle, including placing purchase orders, purchase order amendments, on-time delivery management, Accounts Payable (AP), invoice hold and issue resolution
  • Independently resolves issues and makes decisions within assigned responsibilities by applying given guidelines, policies and regulatory framework
  • Undertakes analysis and investigation, using prescribed guidelines and policies
  • Creates needed data analytic reports to track status of important key performance indicators
  • Proactively supports Sourcing initiatives, including process improvements and data cleaning
  • Handles RFI (Request For Information), RFQ (Request for Quote) and quote analyses coming from different suppliers and prepares decision making foundations for further steps
  • Acts as supplier lifecyle admin by collecting necessary documents, submitting workflows and updating supplier data in relevant IT systems
  • Maintains the highest level of integrity and ethics in all dealings with internal customers and outside suppliers
Your Profile: 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business or Engineering from an accredited university/college or a high school diploma 
  • Work experience in Procurement of advantage
  • Experience with ERP and data management tools of advantage
  • Project management experience in international environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Solid business acumen and entrepreneurial attitude
  • Quantitative and data analysis skills
  • Demonstrated ability to organize, assess and prioritize tasks
  • Ability to work in a cross-functional organization in geographically diverse businesses
  • Fluent communication in German and English language (verbal and written), additional languages are a plus
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.644,20 gross per month (x 14) and an overpayment depending on your qualifications and experience.
