Position Overview:

As Operational Excellence Lead, you will play a central role in the strategic development of our operations organization. With your technical know-how, your management experience and your eye for sustainable improvements, you will actively shape the future of our production sites. You will lead a dedicated team, drive optimization initiatives and, together with internal and external partners, ensure efficient and future-oriented maintenance.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Leading the Operational Excellence & CNC Programming team and coordinating tasks
  • Analyzing and optimizing existing production processes
  • Planning and introducing new manufacturing technologies and methods
  • Working with process KPIs and continuously improving quality standards
  • Advising development and design teams on manufacturing-oriented product design
  • Planning production capacities while taking economic and logistical factors into account
  • Planning and implementing investment projects (machines and equipment)
  • Ongoing analysis of tooling costs as well as auxiliary materials and operating supplies
  • Close collaboration with external companies such as tool manufacturers, machine suppliers, and engineering/design offices
  • Creative participation in Lean Six Sigma projects

  • Required Work Experience
    • Several years of relevant professional experience in industrial production planning with increasing responsibility
    • Experience working with ERP systems (ideally ORACLE)
    • Experience with tool management software is an advantage, ideally TDM, Vericut, Top Solid
    • Strong CAD and MS Office skills
    • English language fluency with German a plus. 

 

  • Education / Professional Qualifications
    • Successfully completed degree in a technical field of study (university of applied sciences, university, or similar) or comparable qualification/training
