Role/Overall objectives:
 
The role is responsible for leading and overseeing the Fixed and Intangible Asset accounting processes across the headquarter of the INNIO Group and other subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS), internal policies, and process requirements. The Team Leader is managing the team and ensuring high-quality deliverables to stakeholders. The role resolves complex accounting topics, closes process gaps, and drives continuous improvement.
 
Your responsibilities:

Team Leadership & Delivery Management

  • Lead, develop, and coach the accounting team
  • Oversee accounting processes for assets
  • Act as escalation point for complex issues
  • Drive performance and development

Capitalization & Reconciliation

  • Ensure timely capitalization of CAPEX
  • Review journal entries and reconciliations
  • Resolve GL vs subledger differences
  • Ensure proper documentation and reporting

Governance & Compliance

  • Ensure adherence to controls and policies
  • Support audits and ensure audit readiness
  • Identify risks and implement corrections
 
 
Your profile:
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and asset capitalization principles.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting and people management
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. Oracle) and MS Office, Excel. 
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. 
  • Fluent Hungarian AND English knowledge
