Description

Assisting marketing and communications efforts to grow in the gas compression and power generation markets. This internship is an excellent opportunity to experience various aspects of marketing while working for well-known corporate brand in an industrial manufacturing segment.
In this role, you will:
  
  • Assist as needed with planning trade events, conferences and local community event sponsorships
  • Assist in the development and execution of new unit, upgrades and all services marketing campaigns including related presentations, brochures or other marketing collateral material
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer preferences and competitive analysis
  • Support content creation for internal Sharepoint site
  • Monitor and analyze channel marketing activities including website audits, social media presence to ensure brand consistency and alignment
  • Collaborate with staff on new ideas, directions, and venues for marketing and communications 
Your Profile:
  
  • Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related technical field (e.g., Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing/Communications). Engineering coursework highly desired. Technical or engineering majors looking for business development experience encouraged to apply.
  • Previous internship or related experience in marketing or communications is a plus
  • Must have solid working knowledge of Office 365 products: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Share Point and Microsoft Teams Proficiency in HTML and graphic design preferred. 
  • Ability to communicate in a professional manner with press and community contacts
  • Self-motivated, good organizational skills, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize, multi-task and meet deadlines
