Your Reponsibilities:
  • Work in a motivated engineering team to develop and improve the steady state and transient performance of our internal combustion engines applying both simulation and testing
  • Lead innovative gas engine development projects focusing on performance (power, efficiency, emissions, transient behavior etc.) and operating strategies
  • Organize and execute in-house engine testing on single and multi-cylinder engines with emphasis on mixture preparation, gas exchange, ignition & combustion and turbocharging etc.
  • Analyze simulation and measurement results with interpretation, conclusions and reporting
  • Validate engine and component performance including testing at research institutes and customer sites
  • Cooperate closely with controls, design, mechanical engineering, emissions aftertreatment, test benches, service and manufacturing as well as with order engineering & external suppliers
Your Profile:
  • Bachelor/Master of science in mechanical engineering or similar
  • Experience in internal combustion engine development
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work autonomously in a global matrix organization
  • Very good communication skills in English
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 4.269,07 gross per month (x14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
