Your Responsibilities:
- Development of the core controls software for our gas engine products utilized for production of electricity and heat
- Specification, implementation, and testing of new software features and controls algorithm
- Design of our next generation controls system to meet future challenging requirements on enhanced engine efficiency and transient performance, reliable operation with alternative fuels like hydrogen, cope with advanced safety and cyber security standards, and more to come
- Develop innovative controls solutions for engine gen-set applications being integrated into complex electric grid topology like multi-engine power plants providing decentralized power
Your Profile:
- Relevant Bachelor’s or Masters degree, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Good programming skills in Matlab and/or other high level programming languages
- Knowledge in simulations and the Simulink environment are a plus
- Fundamental knowledge and interest on internal combustion engines
- Solid educational and/or professional background on control theory
- Fluent English skills both written and spoken. Experience in generating technical documents
- A valid work permit for Austria as a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.728,36 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
