Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of virtualization and infrastructure server systems (on-prem and Cloud), O365, MS teams and mobile landscape
- Lead installation and upgrade computer components and software process, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes
- Work with monitoring tool to proactive troubleshoot hardware and software errors. Documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues
- Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of IT infrastructure
- Perform or delegate regular backup operations and implement appropriate processes for data protection, disaster recovery, and fail-over procedures
- Responsible for capacity, storage planning, and database performance
Your Profile:
- Bachelor / Master's Degree in a relevant field e.g. Computer Science, IT or Software Engineering
- Hands-on experience with MS-Technologies as well as OS, VM, Storage, Cloud, DB, on prem hosting environments desired
- Tech savy with familiarity in remote desktop applications and Help Desk Software (e.g., Service Now, Zendesk, BOLD 365, etc.)
- Basic knowledge in IT Security
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot basic technical issues (Level 3)
- Ability to provide step-by-step technical help (written and verbal)
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
- Fluency in German, good English skills
- A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 3.790,58 gross per month (x 14) and an over payment depending on your qualifications and experience.
