Financial Analyst – Contractual Service Agreements (m/f/d)

The Financial analyst – Contractual Service Agreements – will be responsible for analytics around key service product line – CSAs, will perform review of key financial metrics on a monthly basis prior to submission to head of services finance team, will provide technical guidance and support to operational team to ensure overall CSA process is effective, efficient and compliant with the INNIO policies and procedures.
This role is filled in Jenbach in Tyrol, Austria.

Your Responsibilities:
- Perform planning for Contractual Service Agreements (CSA)s at contract and engine serial number level using operating hours (OpH) and events forecast and by collaborating with the regional teams
- Run pacing with the regional teams, share actuals, discuss and be able to explain regional dynamics / risks / opportunities to head of service finance team / VP Group & Jenbach Controlling / Services Leader
- Participate in monthly financial closing by booking the required manual journal entries (LD reserve, loss reserve, J920 revenue recognition), analyze sales and margin vs budget, vs forecast and vs prior year, explain the main drivers for changes
- Prepare key financial metrics related to CSAs, operating hours on a monthly basis and report to head of service finance team / VP Group & Jenbach Controlling / Services Leader
- Review and track execution and results of the Value Creation Programs (VCPs), validate savings related to CSA product line
- Support Operational teams with projects to simplify and automate CSA business processes: e.g. OpH billings out of MyPlant, min OpH, cost caps, CSA extra work, contract terminations, indexation, etc.,
- Provide data for KPMG audits, collect backups, explain the process controls in place
- Prepare account reconciliations for deferred revenue, LD reserve, loss reserve accounts, etc.,
- Perform Contract Margin Reviews (CMR)s for J920 contracts together with the service operations team on an annual basis; prepare and share with the operational teams actual contract to date revenue and costs associated with J920 contracts, review and approve the changes in the margin rates
- Collaborate with the billing team to ensure completeness of OpH and milestone billings
- Collaborate with Energas team to collect and report the required CSA KPIs: split of revenue and costs by type of engine, OpH vs milestones revenue, planned vs unplanned costs, etc. for all Energas engines covered by CSAs
- Liaise and collaborate with operations and other finance teams to solve complex accounting / service finance issues and implement sustainable working solutions
- Analyze availability and reliability guarantees and adjust liquidated damages reserve in accordance with the latest data and forecast
- Assess contracts on a periodic basis and adjust loss reserve accordingly
Your Profile:
- Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics/Business Administration
- Extensive professional financial experience
- Strong analytic skills: able to clearly link financial results to operational performance drivers, generate alternatives and drive positive change
- Excellent communication skills and assertiveness: experience working across multiple levels (including executive level), functions and regions; able to clearly communicate complex financial information
- Solid PC skills: experience with financial systems/applications, strong excel skills
- Direct and/ or indirect leadership experience preferred
- A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
