As a Procurment Specialist - Italian & Spanish Speaking, you will be responsible for performing standard operational sourcing activities within given guidelines and procedures. You will get involved in sourcing initiatives aiming at constantly improving processes, achieving financial goals and delivering excellent service to both internal and external customers.

In this role, your tasks will be:

  • Work closely with strategic buyers, the service department, quality, and A/P operations to ensure smooth running of day-to-day business
  • Perform procurement tasks, including sourcing attribute maintenance, request for quotation, purchase order placement and sourcing invoice hold and issue resolution
  • Maintain supplier master data as well as initiate new supplier onboarding workflows
  • Provide functional support to internal customers, ensuring business strategies are followed through working closely with the local Sourcing leader and supplier base 
  • Define and negotiate pricelist for smaller activities
  • Build relationship with suppliers by on site visits and face to face meetings
  • Define forecast for our specific service activities (Turbochargers, Generators, Heat exchangers, etc.)

Your Profile:

  • Completed university studies in Business or Engineering or relevant or a high school diploma and equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Foundational knowledge of guidelines, practices, and procedures within sourcing function, previous work experience in procurement is an advantage
  • Fluency in Italian, Spanish and English (both verbally and in written)
  • Experience with ERP and data management tools (Oracle knowledge is a plus)
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications with advanced Excel skills
  • Ability to organize, assess and prioritize tasks
  • Team Player mentality and willingness to continuous learning and development
