Senior Tax Manager
Description
Role Summary:
Responsible for wing-to-wing tax reporting and tax accounting processes, including forecasting, tax provision, consolidation, compliance, and settlement for INNIO, focused on organizational, country, and regional priorities for INNIO.
Essential Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to functional management and/or business functions on approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affecting business organization and ways of working.
- Participate in international tax planning and cross-border structuring
- Optimize international payment flows considering withholding taxes, tax credits and tax exemptions
- Provide ETR / Cash tax forecast of INNIO business on a consolidated level
- Manage IFRS tax reporting in close cooperation with INNIO’s headquarters
- Drive Local US (state / local), Canadian (CIT, HST, GST), and Mexican (CIT) tax compliance related tasks
- Manage exemption certificate population of INNIO in the US/Canada
- Prepare Federal, State and Local income tax returns for designated region
- Coordinate with external service providers
- Responsible for any tax audits within assigned region.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline from an accredited university or college.
- Professional certification: CPA required
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Tax Operations in public accounting firm and/or mix of public/international business Tax function
- Minimum of 3 years of experience with ERP systems functionality (Oracle / SAP) and Tax engine soluti
- Solid analytical skills and working knowledge of IFRS and / or US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail, a sense of personal accountability, and urgency for achieving results
- Strong technical skills to navigate spreadsheets and software
- Must have proper US work authorization.

Working Arrangements:
- Hybrid work from home, within 100 miles of Waukesha, WI.
- Work from business office one day per week, and as needed per business requirements.
- Travel up to 10%
